ABC Fundraiser
Our school fundraiser will be kicked off next Wednesday, September 8th. Each student will have the opportunity to bring home a catalog containing hundreds of items includng gifts, wrapping paper, goodies and more. Last year we witnessed our own Mr. Carter dive into a river of chocolate pudding. What will happen next? What will the goal be this year? Stay tuned and see.
We're Going Green!!
In an effort to be more resourceful and to take care of our environment, all communication will now be made through email, our website or through our voice dialer. Limited printed copies of our newsletter will be available for families who do not have Internet access. Be sure to provide your teacher with your email address so we can keep you up to date on what is happening here at Second Creek.
Have You Signed Up for the Parental Portal??
School District 27J students data information system (Infinite Campus) is available on the internet. It includes your student's attendance, grades, progress reports, homework assignments and more. To access this information, you will need an activation code which is available by stopping by the office with a photo ID between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. You must be the legal parent or guardian of the student. After logging in for the first time, you may create your own user name and password. Using the parental portal enables you to link all of your children to one single login for the parent's easy access. So, if you haven't taken advantage of this wonderful communication system, please stop by the office. The instructions are simple and the advantages are great.
Attention Parents:
Only those individuals listed on the authorized pick-up list are able to pick up your students from school. These individuals will be required to produce a current, valid picture ID. If your student is normally a bus rider and is going home by another form of transportation, please send a note to the office with your child first thing in the morning. We must have this in writing with your signature. All students who normally ride the bus will be placed on their bus unless a note has been received by the main office that morning.
